I'm partial to the Bill Murray/Wu Tang episode. Jarmusch deserves some serious points just for thinking of that combo, and it's hilarious. I don't like any of Jarmusch's episodic films as much as his features, though -- all three of them have a few weaker segments to balance out the great ones.Ed Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18014222247676090467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296479421292377391.post-64384654307364988872007-11-30T14:48:00.000-05:002007-11-30T14:48:00.000-05:00Gaincarolo Esposito is a brilliant and sadly under...Gaincarolo Esposito is a brilliant and sadly underused talent.

I like Coffee and Cigarettes tons more than you do. The Cate Blanchette episode (where she plas opposite herself) is a must for Cate Blanchett fanatics. The running gag about the Tesla coil is quite amusing, as is the Alfred Molina/Steve Coogan sequence, and I adore the finale where Taylor Mead and Bill Rice listen to DavidEhrensteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11016905507543736049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296479421292377391.post-47314789683341286242007-11-30T13:29:00.000-05:002007-11-30T13:29:00.000-05:00Is that a coded way of telling me you're not a fan...Is that a coded way of telling me you're not a fan of Night On Earth then? Heh. I wouldn't say I loved it, and the Paris and Los Angeles segments drag it down a bit, but Benigni and the NYC episode are just hilarious and the Helsinki finale is poignantly beautiful. It's a fine film, not as solid as Mystery Train, but better than the terminally uneven Coffee and Cigarettes, asEd Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18014222247676090467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296479421292377391.post-4265688828690163542007-11-30T12:55:00.000-05:002007-11-30T12:55:00.000-05:00I am unable to understand how you manage to love s...I am unable to understand how you manage to love so many films, even after seeing so many films. Or rather, tell me your secret since I seem to be the exact opposite.

But, I just saw I'M NOT THERE and it blew me away. What a truly amazing film!Filmbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10856374977796706304noreply@blogger.com
