Wings is coming back on the big screen in a couple of weeks & I was in a Gary Cooper WWI dog fight picture ... Great bones, Crawford, Cooper, Tone & Young directed by Hawks with a screenplay by Faulkner ... Was so meh ... Stilted, slow, even the airfight scenes were dull ... Enjoyed the eye candy ... No one looks better as a pilotJ Kirbynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296479421292377391.post-48698163609331237862009-01-17T11:15:00.000-05:002009-01-17T11:15:00.000-05:00Great review! I loved all the stuff with the cockroaches, and also felt the romantic core of the film seemed to be the relationship between Claude, Ronnie and Diana, with Bogard's character seeming rather extraneous - and zero chemistry between Crawford and Cooper.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
